Niantic firefighters use their ladder truck to watch for the potential spread of an electrical fire around 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Niantic Diner. There was a small fire in the restaurant's electrical service on the side of the building. It did not spread to the structure. Connecticut Light & Power was called to the scene.
